Water Shutoff In North East 💧

El Paso Water will shut off water for about 1,800 customers in Northeast El Paso on Monday night, April 7th, from 9 P.M. to 1 A.M. The outage affects two apartment complexes and nearby homes. Two water tankers will be set up, so plan ahead and fill up early!

Volunteers Needed For Día De Los Niños 👶

El Paso Public Libraries is looking for groups to help out with Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros on April 26! You can volunteer, run a booth, or join the parade. It’s free to sign up and fun for the whole city. Volunteer here!

Public Meetings On Infrastructure Debt 🏦

El Paso County plans to issue up to $54 million in certificates of obligation (COs) to fund critical infrastructure projects like water and sewer improvements, road safety upgrades, flood control, and HVAC repairs—all without raising taxes.

These public funds don’t require a vote and will be decided by Commissioners Court in May. Residents are encouraged to attend upcoming meetings to learn more and share feedback.

Ysleta Rewarding Students For Attendance 🏆

Ysleta ISD is leveling up student motivation! As part of their “Be Present!” campaign, students at North Loop Elementary with top attendance or high scores on the district’s “Game On” video game will be surprised with prizes like bikes, backpacks, and board games. Attendance has never been this rewarding!
