UTEP Opens $80M Research Center 🚀

UTEP just launched an $80 million high-tech hub called the Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center (AMAC), and it’s packed with big brains and big ideas. From space robots to 3D-printed moon tech, AMAC is teaming up with top industry names like Lockheed Martin and the Air Force to make El Paso a serious player in aerospace and innovation.

El Paso Man Turns 100 🎂

Alejandro Lucero just turned 100—and El Paso made sure he didn’t celebrate alone! With no family nearby, Adult Protective Services threw him a party that quickly went viral. The community showed up with food, gifts, and even dancing. Lucero enjoyed tamales, cake, and good company. It was a heartwarming reminder to check in on our elderly neighbors.
