Local News
First Measles Case In El Paso 🤒
El Paso has officially confirmed its first case of measles within city limits—a 3-year-old boy who is currently in isolation at El Paso Children’s Hospital. This is the second case in the region after Fort Bliss reported one earlier. Local health officials are now working to trace contacts and stop the spread.
Recycling Comes to Rec Centers ♻️
El Paso Parks and Rec is going green! The city just launched a pilot recycling program at all its recreational spots—think parks, pools, and gyms. Bins for plastic, paper, and more will pop up to make recycling easier for everyone. I’m a big recycler and so I’m excited to check some of these bins out.
