Good morning, El Paso. It’s Thursday and all I can think about is where I am going to eat at this weekend. 😋

Outdoor Cooking Basics 🍳

Looking for something fun to do with the kids? There are hands-on crafts on March 14th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tech2o Center (10751 Montana Ave). You’ll enjoy free family activities like making upcycled bird feeders, wilderness bracelets, and musical maracas.

Leprechaun Toy Hunt Today ☘️

There’s a fun St. Patrick’s Day event at Texas Kids Dental today! Join the Leprechaun Toy Hunt from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 7480 Remcon Cir. Kids will hunt for hidden toys, and the winners will receive prizes, including Urban Air Trampoline vouchers.

Toddler Time For The Littles 👶

For those with toddlers, Party & Co. is having Toddler Time at their Venue today, March 13th! You can choose from two sessions: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Big News For The Downtown 🏢

Big news for Downtown El Paso! The Popular Dry Goods Building, formerly known as Fallas, has been sold and will be transformed into a major residential project. The building, located at 301 E San Antonio St., will feature 120 residential units and Class A retail spaces.

Developer Robert Palacios plans to invest $42 million into the project, with help from $2.7 million in tax incentives and a $4 million forgivable loan. This redevelopment is expected to play a key role in revitalizing the downtown area. The building's transformation is a promising step toward the future of El Paso because as we all know, our downtown needs some love.

Kids T-Ball Is Back ⚾

Get your little one ready for some T-ball fun this spring! Registration is open until March 22 for kids ages 4-5, with games starting March 24. The cost is $40 per child, including a mandatory $5 parent class fee. You can see a list of where games will be played below.

New Goodwill Coming To Town 🏬

Goodwill Industries is opening a new thrift store in El Paso's Lower Valley! They are having the ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 19th at 9 AM at 700 N. Zaragoza. The store will support programs that provide job training and employment opportunities. It will also feature a Job-Link Center for job-searching skills.

UTEP Basketball Season Over 🏀

The UTEP Miners' season ended with an 81-60 loss to Liberty in the Conference USA tournament quarterfinals. Devon Barnes led the team with 18 points, including five 3-pointers, but Liberty’s strong second half sealed the win. UTEP finishes the season with 18 wins, marking another strong year under coach Joe Golding.
