The way it works is certain restaurants in the downtown offer special dishes and discounts throughout the week allowing you to try unique, delicious foods from different places. It’s happening from April 3rd to 14th, and you don’t have to register. Check out participating restaurants here.

Plan For The Dry Goods Building Announced 🏗️

El Paso is set to revitalize the old Popular Dry Goods building into a buzzing retail and residential hub. The plan is to transform this once lively spot into a place where people can shop, live, and park with ease. The ground floor will become a retail space, topped with 120 apartments and a basement parking garage.

With $6.7 million invested by the city and great excitement from the community, this project aims to bring more life into downtown. Residents are hoping for new eateries, fun spots for kids, and attractions like theaters to enrich downtown El Paso.

El Paso Medical Providers Settle Over Billing Scheme 💊

In El Paso, several medical providers have settled with the government for $3.1 million after being accused of an illegal billing scheme. The Department of Justice revealed that Desert Imaging and others used a hospital's provider number to claim higher payment rates for services that were unconnected to the hospital.

This deal includes payments from several entities and resolves a lawsuit that alleged deceptive practices aimed at overcharging federal healthcare programs.

Class Is Cancelled At Canutillo High School 🎒

Canutillo High School will be closed today due to a water main break caused by construction. All activities will be canceled or rescheduled, but classes will resume Friday. Staff should await further instructions from the campus.
