El Paso County wants to borrow $54 million without a public vote to fix roads, water systems, and more. Some people say voters should decide. UTEP picked Dr. C. Scott Kruse as the new dean of the College of Health Sciences. He’s got serious brainpower and military skills. Starting July 1st, he’ll lead the charge to boost healthcare education across the region.

Fort Bliss Boosts Rail Capacity 🪖

Fort Bliss just kicked off a big rail expansion project to help troops deploy faster. They're adding over 4 miles of track and boosting capacity by 40%. Leaders say it'll speed things up and make the base stronger. No finish date yet, but it’s full steam ahead for military readiness.
