Things To Do

Locomotives Season Opener ⚽

The Locomotives kickoff, no pun intended, their season this Saturday at home against the Colorado Springs Switchbacks. The game starts at 7:00 PM at Southwest University Park and tickets come with a fireworks show and a magnet schedule giveaway. You can get tickets to the game here. Oddities & Curiosities Expo 🐞

Get ready for a unique experience at the Oddities & Curiosities Expo in El Paso! From March 8-9, visit the El Paso Convention Center to explore weird and wonderful items like taxidermy, creepy art, vintage antiques, and more.

Check out live performances, join taxidermy or bug pinning workshops, and discover a community of like-minded people. Kids 12 and under get in free, and there are plenty of surprises in store. You can get tickets here if you’re interested.

For El Paso History Buffs 🤓

Join El Paso native and journalist Richard Parker on March 6th at 6:00 PM for the launch of his exciting new book, The Crossing. The book explores El Paso’s role in shaping U.S. history and is perfect for history lovers. Art Exhibition at Artspace Gallery

The Juried Art Exhibition at Artspace Gallery on March 7th, from 5-9 PM, is an event you won’t want to miss! Explore amazing local visual art and meet talented artists in Downtown El Paso. Strong Winds & Dust Return 🍃

Today is expected to be another day of strong winds and dust so be prepared. Try to avoid travel if possible and plan to stay indoors as much as you can. Usually a windy day is not major news, but given how bad the wind and dust can get in El Paso, I wanted to give you a heads up so you can plan accordingly. Luckily, it looks like the wind and dust will start to calm down on Friday.

Flight Diverted To El Paso ✈️

A Sun Country Airlines flight from Minneapolis to Mazatlán was diverted to El Paso due to a security concern. The flight landed safely, and passengers were deplaned without any issues. The FBI responded, and passengers were given overnight accommodations. Authorities are investigating the situation, but no further details have been released. As for now, it looks like everything is fine and this was only done to be extra cautious.

Drake Bell Coming To El Paso 🎤

Drake Bell is performing live at Lowbrow Palace on May 10th, and if you’re a 90’s kid you won’t want to miss it! It’ll be an electrifying show, with a special guest performance by Chloe Bee. General tickets go on sale March 7th and you can grab yours here if you’re interested.
