Reason For Recent Water Main Breaks 💦

There have been two water main breaks this week and El Paso officials are blaming old pipes. Luckily, the city is working on updating old infrastructure so hopefully we see less in the future.

Massive Texas-New Mexico Road Project Begins 🛣️

The Artcraft Road project is kicking off construction to boost travel between Texas and New Mexico, leading up to Interstate 10. Costing $243.7 million, this expansive project aims to ease congestion and link major roads seamlessly. Features include direct I-10 access, U-turn bridges, improved frontage roads, and pedestrian pathways, making travel smoother and safer.

This effort will also better connect local cargo operations to the Santa Teresa Border Crossing. Scheduled for completion by 2030, the project will unfold in five phases, starting at the state line.

Renovations Finished At El Paso’s Oldest Library 📚

El Paso’s Main Public Library is set to have its grand reopening on April 10th. Fresh off renovations, the library now features modern reading areas, tech-savvy spaces, and a cultural nod with its integration into the Mexican American Cultural Center. Expect a new entrance, upgraded children’s and teen sections, and more.
