The creator and star of the Netflix show “Magic for Humans” is coming to El Paso. You’ll see magic tricks, hear some jokes, and maybe even see some hypnosis. Kids are welcome as well so nobody has to get left behind.

Another Yoga Session 🧘♀️
Stretch out and chill out at Yoga with Be Well El Paso today. Led by Aman Wraich from Free the Yoga, it's free to join at Gary Del Palacio Rec Center. This event is part of a larger city initiative to keep El Pasoans active and healthy so check it out.

El Paso Approves $54M In Projects 🏗️
El Paso County is getting a big upgrade! The County Commissioners decided to borrow up to $54 million for important things like safer roads, better flood protection, cleaner water, and cool air for a youth center. They all agreed except for Commissioner Iliana Holguin, who wasn't too keen on the plan. This money will help without raising taxes, and they'll make the final decision to start these projects on May 12. Super exciting times for El Paso!
Operation College Bound 🎓
El Paso Community College and UTEP have teamed up for Operation College Bound! They'll visit 22 high schools in El Paso by May 3, helping students learn about college choices and simplifying enrollment. It's like a traveling college fair, making higher education easier to grasp!
El Paso Community Gardens 🌱
Have you ever heard of a community garden? It’s basically a piece of land that is divided up and shared amongst the community where you can have your own little garden along with other members of the community. It’s perfect for those who can’t or don’t want to have a garden at their own home. El Paso has a few community gardens around the city and if your interested check out the Facebook post below for more info.

UTEP Basketball Players Transfer 🏀
Big news for UTEP basketball! Four key players, David Terrell Jr., Devon Barnes, Corey Camper Jr., and Ahamad Bynum, have entered the NCAA transfer portal. Together, they scored more than half of the team's points last season! It's a waiting game to see if they'll return or if UTEP will be scouting new talent soon.
