New Way To Report Things In The City 📞

Exciting news, El Paso! The new EP311 web app is live, making it easier than ever to report issues like potholes, missed trash pickups, and more directly from your phone. The redesigned platform features a clean interface, new search options, and real-time tracking.

You can now upload pictures, audio, and video files, and even report anonymously. The best part? No app download required—just visit the web app, create a new account, and you’re set! Be sure to delete the old EP311 app and add the new web app to your home screen. You can check it out here if you’re interested.

School Closures Impact On Students & Teachers 🏫

The El Paso Independent School District's school closures have caused minimal shifts in student enrollment and staff, according to recent data. Despite closing six schools, only 64 students have left the district, with most transferring to other districts or charter schools.

However, the district faces a reduction in state funding due to these departures. While 14 employees have retired and 19 resigned, the district expects more staff changes by year-end, as some teachers plan to retire early or move to other districts. The school board will discuss these findings at their March 18 meeting, but for now, the school closures don’t seem to have a major impact on students and teachers.
