Poppies Fest Returning To El Paso 🌸
Spring is here, and so is Poppies Fest in Northeast El Paso! From March 8 to 29, the El Paso Museum of Archaeology hosts a free, family-friendly celebration of Mexican gold poppies along Castner Range. Each Saturday features unique themes, live performances, artisan vendors, food trucks, and hands-on activities.
This year, you can enjoy Native American culture, local art, a fiesta celebration, and a wellness walk. Remember to stay on the trails and avoid picking the poppies to help them thrive for future generations. Also, bring your cameras because the blooms make for some amazing photos trust me.

Dust Storm To Last Several More Days 💨
Get ready for some wild weather! The El Paso area is facing powerful winds and blowing dust for the next several days. Today, expect winds from 25-55 mph, with gusts hitting up to 54 mph. The high will reach 67°F, but the dust and haze will make it feel even worse. Wednesday will bring a brief break with sunny skies and lighter winds.
Thursday and Friday, however, will see more gusty winds and dust, with highs around 78°F and 66°F. Saturday will be sunny but still windy and dusty. Stay safe, hold onto your hats, and maybe hold of on washing your car for the next few days!
Sun Metro Bus Routes Almost All Back 🚍
Starting March 3, Sun Metro is bringing back most of its fixed routes after a tragic fire disrupted service. While Routes 2 and 16 remain down, other routes and paratransit services are back to normal. Brio lines will operate with a modified schedule on weekdays, but weekend service will remain the same. It’s Official, We’re The Boot Capital 🥾
El Paso has officially been named the Boot Capital of Texas! The County Commissioners Court recognized the city’s long history of boot-making, celebrating local legends like Lucchese, Rocketbuster, and Tony Lama. This title honors El Paso's craftsmanship and makes it official, we are the place to be when it comes to boots. Yee-Haw!
